The scalp usually heals within two weeks. After that the transplanted follicles rest before they begin producing new strands.
The first results show after about 3-4 months. At six months most see a clear difference in density, and within a year the hair has reached its final volume and shape. The result is permanent and grows like the rest of your hair.

01How is hair transplant different for women?
Women often have diffuse hair loss across the crown rather than concentrated temples. We plan the treatment to densify evenly, preserve your existing hair design and address the hairline or parting where needed.
02Do I have to cut off all of my hair?
No. We only shave a small square in the donor area at the back of the head that your existing hair covers. You can come directly from work and go out for dinner the same evening without anyone noticing.
03What causes hair loss in women?
The most common causes are hormonal changes (postpartum, menopause), genetics, stress, thyroid issues and certain medications. At the consultation we map your specific cause.
04Can PRP be enough, or do I need a transplant?
For many women, PRP is a more effective first measure that halts hair loss and densifies. We recommend a transplant first when PRP is not enough or for larger bald areas.
